Point it at a website. Get a brand kit.

• Colors, named by role — read from the site's actual styles and a rendered snapshot, curated into a palette, with names like Theme, Background, and Heading where the site declares how it uses them.
• Logos at their best resolution — Pocket CVI hunts beyond the favicon: vector marks first, then the sharpest transparent bitmaps it can find.
• The real webfonts — pulled from the site's stylesheets, with WOFF files converted into installable TTFs and validated before they enter the kit.
• A full-page screenshot — filed into the collection's Documents as the visual record of what the import saw.
• An import receipt — the collection's notes document exactly what was found, from which URLs, and just as honestly, what wasn't.

An Include list on the import form lets you take everything or just the parts you want — colors, logos, fonts, and the AI extras. A live checklist shows every step as it runs, and it's honest: a step that comes up empty gets a red cross, never an unearned checkmark.

Website collections also get a refresh button on their title. Re-fetch the site any time and choose Merge, Replace, or Create New — with the same Include choices.

With a Claude or ChatGPT key connected, the import searches the web for the guidelines the brand itself has published — brand manuals, design guides, press-kit style guides. Real PDFs are downloaded and filed into Documents; if the brand keeps its guidelines as an online portal, that link is captured instead.

The most credible find is surfaced as the Official Brand Guide — a banner at the top of the collection, one click from the source of truth. And once found, it survives every re-import.

Also with an AI back-end (a Claude or ChatGPT key, or your own local model): the AI reads the import's signals — the palette, the typefaces, the site's own words — and writes a proper brand description straight into the collection's CVI notes, clearly marked as AI-written and free to edit.
