Pick a color from anywhere on your screen

Sample any pixel on any display with a round magnifier loupe — one color or several in a row — and grab it in your format.

#3DDC84
  1. Launch the picker.Hit ⌃⌘⇧P from anywhere, or click the picker button in Pocket CVI. Your cursor becomes a live, round magnifier loupe.
  2. Line up the target.Move over the pixel you want. The round loupe magnifies the pixels under your cursor with a target on the exact one, so you nail the right color every time.
  3. Click to capture.Click the pixel to sample it — the color lands in your Recent collection instantly, and picking one that's already there won't add a duplicate.
  4. Pick several in a row.Turn on Continuous picking in Settings → Picker to keep the loupe open after each click, grabbing color after color, then press Esc when you're done.
  5. Let it auto-copy.If auto-copy is on, the color is already on your clipboard in your default format, ready to paste.
  6. Read it in any format.Select the color to see it as HEX, RGB, or HSL, with alpha, and copy any of them with one click.
Pro tip

Set your default format (HEX, RGB, or HSL) in Settings so every pick auto-copies exactly the string you paste most.
